DIABETES BY THE NUMBERS: UNDERSTANDING PREVALENCE TRENDS

Abstract

This population-based study aims to assess the prevalence of diabetes in Adigrat Town, located in Northern Ethiopia. Diabetes is a significant public health concern globally, and understanding its prevalence at the community level is crucial for effective healthcare planning and intervention strategies. Data was collected through systematic sampling methods, including blood glucose testing and demographic surveys. The abstract summarizes the findings regarding diabetes prevalence and highlights potential implications for healthcare policies and programs in Adigrat Town.
