MIGRATION DYNAMICS: UNRAVELING INFLUENCE AND IMPACT ON COMMUNITIES

Faddei Andrich , Genetics and Cytology Department, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ukraine

Abstract

Migration is a prevalent phenomenon worldwide, significantly impacting urban populations and their social dynamics. This study aims to investigate the influence of migration on the expression of aggression and empathy in urban populations. Migration often involves adaptation to new environments, social structures, and cultural norms, which can affect individuals' psychological well-being and interpersonal relationships. Drawing on psychological theories and empirical research, this study explores how migration experiences shape aggression and empathy expression in urban contexts. Factors such as acculturation stress, social support networks, and cultural identity play crucial roles in shaping individuals' emotional responses and behavioral patterns following migration. Understanding the complex interplay between migration and psychological outcomes is essential for promoting social cohesion, integration, and mental health in diverse urban communities.
